Public Projects

The work consists of creating an expansion of new park space within the Big Springs Park with concrete plazas, walls, a playground, seat walls, a pavilion and bathroom building, water features, public art walks (sidewalks), streetscape improvements as well as landscape and irrigation as well as all civil, architectural, and electrical associated with the project.

The Phase I Electrical Site Enabling project is the initial interim step to re-feed the Von Braun Center (VBC) with a primary 12,470V utility source from the north side of Clinton Street. This work is in preparation for the future Phase III Exhibit Hall Expansion (N.I.C.). This scope requires testing of the existing VBC medium voltage (MV) system—including switches and cabling—prior to back feeding the system from Huntsville Utilities (HU) at the Clinton Street location.

This is a mixed-use commercial and residential building and includes approximately 3,250 square feet of space that will be operated as a medical clinic. The medical clinic space is located on a portion of the ground floor of the larger mixed-use structure, which is currently under construction.
