Upgrades to the existing Madison County Volunteer Fire Department facility, including existing building access control and camera upgrades, construction of a fire training tower, and site work, including paving, gates, and exterior lighting.

RENOVATION OF AN EXISTING OFFICE BUILDING WILL INVOLVE UPDATING OFFICE SPACES WITH NEW GYPSUM WALLS, LIGHT FIXTURES, AND FLOOR FINISHES. A NEW COURTROOM WILL REPLACE THE EXISITNG ASSEMBLY SPACE. ADDITIONAL PUBLIC RESTROOMS WILL BE ADDED TO THE 2ND AND 3RD FLOOR LOBBIES. A HOLDING CELL WILL BE LOCATED ADJACENT TO THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE. A NEW STRETCHER COMPLAINT ELEVATOR WILL BE ADDED TO THE EXISITNIG ENTRY LOBBY. VARIOUS FINISH UPDATES WILL BE MADE ON THE 2ND AND 3RD FLOORS. A NEW STOREFRONT ENRTY DOOR WILL BE INSTALLED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE FIRST FLOOR. MECHANICAL UNITS, NEW LIGHTING AND ELECTRICAL UPDATES WILL ALSO BE INCLUDED IN THE RENOVATION. THERE WILL BE NO CHANGE TO THE BUILDING'S USE GROUP (BUSINESS).
